Re: Global Rules
I was recently on a tibia server a few days ago, and some of the rules they had were questionable. For some reason you aren't allowed to trade VIP items which are bought with real life money, even with other VIP items which always cost the same amount. When I inquired as to why you couldn't trade with people of the same amount I was greeted with "just don't." With no answer as to why. This is generally retarded, and the staff there must be retarded. To avoid this I will explain why you must follow each rule the significance of each rule for better understanding.
1. Obey the laws of the clan, do not cross them.
This is obvious, Obey the rules so you stay in order and don't cause trouble. The rules are here to help us all.
2. Respect higher ranks
People are higher ranks for a reason, and if you show respect it will keep a good self esteem around the clan, as well as a good atmosphere. Respect is what funds a clan's system and without it ranks are worthless. We need ranks in order to sort and categorize each member and how well they should be followed, as well as to recognize what part of the clan they are in and how they work to further our success.
3. Give advice and help mold those who are a lower rank than you.
This one explains its self, we want everyone to be above noob intelligence and have a plethora of information at their disposal. It looks good for them and for the clan in general not to have noobs. This doesn't mean don't recruit noobs, it means recruit noobs and teach them how not to be a noob.
4. Stay active in the game as much as you can.
This as well is obvious, we need you in the game because the clan is part of the game, we work as an organized unit and must play together to stay together.
5. If you defect to another clan make sure to post notice.
This way we know you're gone and where you are located if we need to contact you.
6. If you are banned from the clan there is no coming back unless said otherwise.
This will put much more fear into being banned, and hopefully keep people following the rules.
7. We are allies to no clan, but we will accept neutrality. Do not claim to be allies with Monolith if you are not in Monolith.
An alliance in CS2D is redundant because we would simply be one big clan with two sides and two leaders. This is ineffective and become disorganized. Neutrality makes more sense.
8. Do not advertise other clans.
Obvious, we are just and jealous. When you do this you're stealing clan members and in a way stealing the clan. Even if nobody joins it is a nuisance and very annoying to people.
9. Report abuse
This way we can make sure your experience isn't muddied by people who enjoy abusing their power and using members as toys and not fellow members.
10. Don't be a smartass and bend these rules to your advantage.
Obvious loop hole cover.
